The Action Pack materials, mailed to subordinate body presidents and secretary, can supplement the activities listed below. Subordinate body officers may contact Brenda Rine, OCSEA Production Systems Coordinator, at brine@ocsea.org or 614-865-4733 to order copies for events and activities. Provide your name, address, subordinate body name / number, title of  material / flier requested, and quantity of requested material / flier.

  1.  Phone Banks  
    OCSEA can generate a list of phone numbers for the members in your chapter to use during a phone bank. You can call your membership about Obama or about congressional or state races. OCSEA can also help you customize a script (PDF).

  2.  PEOPLE drives
    Enclosed you will find a how-to flier (PDF) with information about starting a chapter PEOPLE drive. In addition, PEOPLE palm cards (PDF) are included that you can use to talk about what’s at stake in the election and why members should contribute to the PEOPLE PAC.

  3.  Voter Registration/Early Voting
    OCSEA will be distributing lists of registered voters to the chapters, asking that unregistered members get registered to vote. In addition, you’ll find a flier in the packet on early voting (PDF) and its importance in making sure your vote counts. Both of these efforts can be coupled with local membership communications about issues and candidates that are important to the union.
