April 28, 2008 - The Union Quality Network used its booth at the recent Building Union Power Conference to educate and sign up member who are interested in being part of the Internal Consulting Network. More than 300 union members gathered in Columbus April 18 - 19 for the annual power conference. This new consulting network is being formed to support the Governor’s Efficiency and Continuous Improvement Initiative. The Internal Consulting Network is envisioned to be a highly skilled, in-demand network of internal consultants that support state agencies through:
OCSEA already has had 23 members sign up for this opportunity. It's anticipated that the Employee Suggestion Feedback program will create a demand for teams to be formed to put suggestions in place. The Internal Consulting Network will be used to facilitate these teams and support them as needed.
